Novak Djokovic won the Wimbledon trophy for the seventh time
Novak Djokovic clinched his seventh Wimbledon title by defeating Nick Kyrgios in the men’s singles final on Sunday.
The Serbian defended the title in four sets, winning 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (3).
He has now won 21 Grand Slam titles in his illustrious career. Djokovic is now one title behind Rafael Nadal, who has 22 Grand Slam titles.
Djokovic, who has won his fourth consecutive Wimbledon title, is on par with Pete Sampras, who has won seven Wimbledon titles.
Swiss tennis star Roger Federer has won eight Wimbledon titles.
