Match Preview: India vs Srilanka

The 3rd match of Asia Cup 2022 Super Four stage will be played between India and Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka have won their first match of the Super Four stage so they will go into this match full of confidence. While India has lost the first match of the Super Four stage against Pakistan. Therefore, the Indian team is under pressure because after losing the match to Pakistan, the Indian team has been heavily criticized.

In this case, every match is a knockout for the Indian team. Because India will be out of this tournament wherever they lose. So India can’t take any risk now they will play cautiously. On paper India is favourite to win the match but Sri Lanka can cause trouble for India as they won the first match.

Pitch and conditions

The last three games in Dubai featured five innings with scores in excess of 180. However, it all depends on which pitch Tuesday’s match will be played on, and its location on the square will decide if there’s a shorter boundary for batters to exploit. Evening temperatures will be around 35°C and the night will not be much cooler, which reduces the chances of dew playing a role in the chase.
