Ind vs Eng 5th Test day 4 live

The 5th test match between England and India is in it’s full flow. So far India is leading the match but you never know in cricket and specially with this English side it can go one way to other in no time.

India started the day 4 with Rishabh Pant and Cheteshwar Pujara on crease. Indian team’s score at the start of the day was 125/3. Pujara and Pant  was playing well until Puji gave away his wicket to Stuart Broad. Shreyas Iyer and Pant added 37 runs to the team total before the departure of Iyer. At the drinks break India was 190/5.

After the drinks India lost two more wickets in quick succession. Rishabh Pant played another brilliant innings scoring 57 runs.

India 207-7

England started the third day at a loss of 84 runs for 5 wickets. Johnny Bairstow and Ben Stokes were on the crease, both had a good partnership and Ben Stokes was out on an easy ball. Johnny Bairstow scored a magnificent century and was dismissed in the next over after catching Virat Kohli off Muhammad Shami’s ball. After that, no England batsman was able to increase the score and the entire England team was bowled out for 284 runs. For England, Johnny Barstow scored 100, Ben Stokes scored 25, Sam Billings scored 35 and Joe Root scored 31. Mohammad Siraj took 4 wickets for India, then Bumrah 3 ,Mohammad Shami 2 and Thakur took 1 wicket. Thus, India got a 132-run lead in the first innings

India’s second innings did not start well and Gill was dismissed for 4 in the first over. Hanuman Vihari and Pujara handled India’s innings for a while but Vehari was dismissed after scoring 11 runs. Virat Kohli came on the crease and after supporting Pujara for a while, he was dismissed for 20 runs. Virat Kohli is not in good form these days so he is also being criticized. It has been more than two years that Virat Kohli has not scored a century. Virat Kohli is not in good form these days so he is also being criticized. After the dismissal of Virat Kohli, In form batsmen Rishab Pant came to the field and supported Pujara. By the end of the day, India were 3 out for 124 runs. Pujara scored 50* and Pant scored 30*.  Anderson Broad and Ben Stokes took one wicket each for England.
