Hardik Pandya, The New Finisher of Indian Team
Hardik Himanshu Pandya (born 11 October 1993) is an Indian international cricketer who plays for the India National Cricket team at the international level and the Baroda cricket academy domestically. He currently captains the newly debuted franchise Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and led them to their maiden IPL title in the 2022 edition. He is an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm Fast medium. His elder brother Krunal Pandya is also an international cricketer.
In Asia Cup 2016, Hardik Pandya was injured in the match between Pakistan and India and was taken off the ground on a stretcher. After which he was away from cricket for a long time and had to undergo treatment. After this injury, he was included in the squad many times in and out of the team.
But in the 202 Asia Cup, he has proved that he can live up to the expectations of the Indian team. He proved during the match between India and Pakistan that he is the best all-rounder in India at the moment. Hardik Pandya bowled the best in the match and dismissed three of Pakistan’s best batsmen. He conceded 21 with three dismissals in his four overs. Along with Wale, he also showed excellent batting in the sitting and took the match to the end.
Looking at his batting against Pakistan, it is not wrong to say that he is now emerging as the best finisher in the Indian team after Dhoni. In the match against Pakistan, he showed excellent batting skills and handled the batting with great sense and responsibility.
