Arrangements for sale of sugar at Rs. 70 per kg have been completed
The Punjab government has made arrangements to sell sugar at Rs 70 per kg.
According to details, the Punjab government has made all arrangements to ensure the sale of cheap sugar. Initially, the stock will be picked up from Al Arabiya Sugar Mills.
Sources said that the sale of cheap sugar would be started from Sargodha. If the sugar mills did not agree to sell sugar at Rs 70 per kg, action would be taken.
According to sources, sugar will be collected from sugar mills and paid at the rate of Rs 70 per kg, and will also be sold to the public at Rs 70 per kg. Transportation and other expenses will be borne by the government.
Stocks can be picked up earlier from sugar mills that do not pay farmers, but the situation will become clearer in a day or two.
